This page explains how we handle personal data in connection with the benedict.beer website.

What this website processes
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and contains no forms.
Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, Inc. — Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront) processes the technical connection data needed to deliver the page: IP address, request time, browser type and the page requested. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). Fetching them discloses your device's IP address to Google. Google Fonts sets no cookies.
If you write to the address above, we process the content of your message and your contact details in order to reply. We keep messages for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to defend any legal claims.
Sharing and retention
We do not share data with third parties for marketing and we do not sell it. Our only processors are the hosting and email providers. Hosting logs are kept for the period set by the provider, typically a matter of weeks.
Your rights
- access to your data and a copy of it,
- correction of inaccurate data,
- erasure and restriction of processing,
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest,
- data portability.
